fight on.

yesterday was a loonnngg day.
we woke up bright and early and headed over to coliseum to tailgate with mister's friends.
we had breakfast burritos and pastrami sandwiches from the hat{so yummy}, donuts, hamburgers, and sodas for breakfast...perfect for game day.
then we made the trek over the stadium with all the other USC fans.
thanks to hubby we had super good seat at the 35 yard line, 26 rows up.
if only it wasn't SO hot, & if only we didn't wear jeans thinking it might be cold.
....this is what happens when you don't have internet at your house to check the weather, & a shattered television screen that only shows the bottom half of the picture...

the boys played a good game though, and of course won, 48-41. fight on.
my favorite part of the USC games is watching the white horse ride around the field.
& lets not forget the hot kettle corn. so good.

after the game we ventured into the LA traffic in route to covina.
We went with two of our favorite people, Grandpa Bill & Auntie Diana to La Tolteca.
i love mexican food, and their chicken tacos didn't disappoint.
we had a lot of good laughs and grandpa now has a new nickname as Mr.butter-fly.

after dinner we walked a few doors down and visited michael, kalita, & our nieces and nephew.
they were wide awake and i was half asleep. little kids have so much energy.

it was a long day, but a fun day.

p.s.- no pictures from our day because mister didn't want to be late for tailgating, and my camera was at my moms house. i was a sad girl.
