my heart has been heavy for the families and friends of the people who lost their lives in the seal beach shooting this week. a girl i went to high school with lost her mom that terrible wednesday. no warning, no knowing that that morning would be the last time she would see her mom in this earth life. i hurt for her. i hurt for her dad, and her two brothers, and her baby girl who will grow up without a grandma. i wasn't friends with her, just knew her in passing; but it hits so close to home. i can't even begin to imagine the pain and sadness she feels. this tragedy really makes me remember just how blessed i am. blessed with the gospel and knowledge of eternal families. blessed with such small minute problems. blessed with a wonderful husband and an eternal marriage. blessed to be here today.
life is a precious gift.
