my favorite kind of nights are the ones that start as blank pages and end up as ones i'll put on my "remember when" list. nothing crazy happened tonight, but it brought back so many good memories of dating and getting engaged, i couldn't help but be happy. after disagreeing on del taco, panda express, and super mex we ended up having a fancy dinner at mcdonalds...which really did feel fancy because this mcdonalds was the nicest one i've ever been to. After dinner mister came up with the best idea to go to the aquarium for the free summer nights. when we got to the pike in long beach, the ferris wheel was still running so we hopped in line and paid our six dollars and then up we went. the seats were the same as the ones in santa monica where mister got down on his knee and asked me to be his wife. it made us happy to think about that day. i even made him take a picture of me flashing my bling, the same way i did all day long that april day. turns out the aquarium isn't open for free summer nights so we just enjoyed the rest of the night walking by the bay. another favorite place. after going to santa monica on our first date we ventured to the bay in the late night to talk. i remember talking a long time, and knowing i really liked this boy. he gave me the love butterflies. little did i know he would end up as my husband. i love "remember when" nights.
