On saturday, we headed down to the san clemente pier with grandpa bill and auntie diana to eat lunch at Fisherman's restaurant. Auntie Diana always tells me about how her mom loved to go there and how much she loved it...so i was pretty excited to go there too. Lunch was so good. I tried steamed clams for the first time and they were actually pretty good. Everyone got halibut for lunch, but i switched it up and got seafood fettuccine. For dessert, we shared a super yummy mud pie. It was pretty overcast outside, but not too cold so we sat outside. Our table was right on the edge of the deck, so we were right over the water. While we ate lunch we got to watch the surfers....so cool! My favorite part of visiting with grandpa and auntie diana is getting to hear stories. It never gets old listening to him tell them to us, even if we've already heard them lots of times before. It was such a good visit, and i am forever grateful to have these two people part of my life. love them!

On friday night, jessica. ben, juli & johnny came over to our house and we went to BJ's for some dessert. It was nice to see jess and ben since they live in utah, and fun to meet juli's bf, johnny. he was really nice and we all had a good laugh messing around with our weird waiter.
Sunday was our new niece, baby rachel's blessing. i forgot my camera so i don't have any pictures, but i did get to hold the two new babies, karly and rachel at church, which i loved so much!
such a good weekend. life is so good.
