hard work and smartness

tonight we had dinner at duke's in huntington beach to celebrate mister's hard work and smartness.

we first went there when we were dating & have been wanting to go back ever since.

i had filet mignon with mashed potatoes & asparagus. 

mister had teriyaki steak with mashed potatoes.

& even though i didnt think i could eat any more, we got the hula pie for dessert. 

IT WAS SO GOOD.

we decided this will be a yearly tradition for us...

because who doesn't love a fancy date night with their better half?!

thanks mom and dad for the gift certificate, best present ever.
