birthdays & baptisms & engagements= happy

i'm pretty sure the last few days have been our busiest yet.
each night we were out till midnight. which never happens!
we like to be in bed by eleven.

Friday night we headed over to my bested friend, meagan's 22nd birthday party!
we played the game of things, which always gets a lot out of hand.
then had a little dance competition of just dance. i definitely won the mister.
there was lots of pizza, breadsticks, cake, layered cake pudding, candy, & soda.
while the boys were having their own fun, we were having some good old fashion girl talk where...
LAUREN TOLD US SHE WAS ENGAGED!!!
seriously best news ever.
we are all so happy for her. she deserves nothing but the best, and dean is a lucky lucky man.

saturday was a happy day.
miss alise was baptized by her husband!
me, meagan, and alise all started going to singles ward together in the end of 2008.
alise has been so good coming to church pretty much every week with her now hubby.
no one would have ever known she wasn't a member of the church.
It was definitely a very special day to see her baptized.
I can't wait until next year when her and stephen get sealed together forever! so exciting!

On Monday, i got off of work early & headed over to the lovely san marino to meet up with david at work.
He got tickets to the USC basketball game for later that night from one of the banks customers.
Our first stop before the game was dinner at The Hat.
he had pastrami, i had grilled cheese, and we shared fries with chili and cheese. yummm
mister invited his dad and oldest brother, michael, to come with and we all had a fun time!
4th row seats, USC song girls for bob, meeting nick young, double overtime, losing :(, meeting jerry buss...and his 25 year old girlfriend...gross!
FIGHT ON! we love usc.

On tuesday, we celebrated the newly engaged, lauren's 22nd birthday at La Creperie on 2nd street.
i didn't end up getting a crepe, but definitely want to go back and get one of the dessert ones.
i can't believe i've never been there before, especially since its across from our favorite, La Strada.
they have a live piano player, two big, pretty chandeliers, & huge gold mirrors hung all over.

this week was oh so good. i love my life.
minus my car stopping in the middle of the freeway interchange at midnight and starting to smoke...
while i was alone.
buh bye radiator and 500 bucks.
